A little hesitant and unsure of what to say, Dad sauntered into the cultural hall of the Issaquah 2nd Ward church building with tie cinched and computer in hand. Eva Foster asked him to talk about the church in the Philippines for a ward humanitarian service project. They also collected items such as clothes, toys, and school supplies to go to the Philippines. There were many items collected, the Filipino food was superior, and many heads were positioned in the jeepney windows as the blinding flash captured the moment from the photographer's camera.

Help Wanted
The annual raking of leaves rolled around here at the Koontz residence. With only four lonely people, the work was more tedious and strenuous than usual. The competition of how many piles one can fit in the wheelbarrow, the designs, and the occasional witty remarks kept us entertained. Overall, I guess we had a jolly time.
